International Money transfer service Western Union has announced a partnership with PAGA, Nigeria’s mobile money transfer service.
The new service will allow users to receive Western Union money transfers directly into their PAGA account and then withdraw it using PAGA’s multi channel platform.
PAGA has almost 1.5 million users and over 4, 000 agents in Nigeria, giving Western Union increased reach with easier pay out options.
The benefits of the partnership is mainly in the ability of the mobile paying service to offer a multi- platform opportunity for cash withdrawal. Users can either withdraw the money by paying it into a bank account, make international money transfers for mobile pick up, or withdraw the money from an ATM as well as taking opportunity of the over 4, 000 PAGA agents in Nigeria.
