Nailsinc (Grey)

Nailsinc has reinvented the regular polish to a not so regular one retailing at £14. The Gel Effect polish, made with the plasticiser technology is supposed to create a high shine gloss with a quick dry time just like a professional gel manicure.
The polish gives a professional finish with no UV lamps, no base or top coat, however, a topcoat is recommended to give the polish an extra shine and boost. For price savvy ladies, this little elegant bottle is a great investment if you would like to achieve a salon finish in the comfort of your home with no extra trips for a soak off. How great is that?
Other perks of the Gel Effect’s polish are its superb fluidity, and thick coverage. This makes one layer of polish enough for a
flawless coat. To avoid early chipping, 2 light coats should be sufficient.

Beauty tip- Team this colour with an all black outfit and you’r ready to go.

The Body Shop— Colour Crush (green and ruby)

When applied thinly the polish dries up fairly quick, but when applied otherwise, it takes a good few minutes to dry, so the thinner each layer the better. Since it is not highly pigmented, approximately two layers should do the job to bring out its real attributes. The thickness of the polish is ideal as once applied it stays in place with a smooth application without it being runny. Although the polish come in beautiful autumn winter colours, they kinda appear to be a bit dull.

To bring these colours to its full glory, add a good layer of China Glaze Fast Forward top coat and this will help those nails look bright. However, it does appear to be shiny on application but this fades off with time.

The cons of this nail polish? You wont have this polish for long before it starts to chip. Overall it is a good buy for £5.00.

Maybeline Color Show Vinyl Polish

Last but not least at an affordable £3.99

Maybeline Vinyl (Boots)- The colours for this polish collection are similar to the 1950’s colour pallet so this is perfect for vintage lovers. If you love a pop of colour on your nails then this is your go to collection.

The cons? The varnish appears streaky when applying so a few layers is definitely needed before you can achieve the semi-matt finish.
Finally, to keep this polish going for a few days, a base coat will be needed
