Taylor Swift- ‘No more boy drama for me, I’m happy single’

British Vogue makes American sweetheart Taylor Swift the cover of the 2014 November issue

The 24-year-old popstar has definitely had a good month so far, starting with the release of her brand new perfume called ‘Incredible Things’ which was released yesterday, and her collaboration of new music with her ex, Ed Sheeran which is set to be a smash hit, but nothing tops being on the cover of Vogue Magazine wearing the latest Miu Miu, Candy pink coat.

In the issue, the main topic of discussion is Swift and her relationships with A-list celebrities.

She is known for dating different stars for very short periods of time. The media industry has also backlashed the Red album maker for dating too many men for her age.

However in this interview with the fashion bible, the singer sets things straight and announces that she is currently single! Stating that “dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind.” This is a big shock coming from Swift who has dated Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner and John Mayer with a very short time distance in between (not that we’re jealous or anything).

The singer’s got good reason to fend off admirers as she worries about the strain her career would put on the relationship with paparazzi following her about. She says, “I don’t know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can’t protect his girlfriend because that’s the life she chose. I just don’t see how it could work, so I don’t think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself. ‘Cause I don’t think any guy really… They think that they would want to get to know me, and maybe date me, but I don’t think they want what comes with it.”

Swift also mentions that instead of all the boy drama she is working on self-discovery and her new music which we look forward to hearing.

Read the full interview in the November issue of Vogue, out from Monday the 6th of October.
