Spa Review: Beauty & Melody Salon Marylebourne

by Temitope Beesley– Beauty Editor

I was invited to the swanky Beauty & Melody salon by the lovely Matthew, manager of this fabulously decorated salon in the heart of central London.

As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm smile and a firm hand shake. My coat was taken and I was then offered a warm drink to get me ready for what was going to be the best 2 hours of my life in a while…no kidding.

I quickly ate my lunch then off I went to a warm and cosy room filled with soft candles and soothing music. Then I got a lovely hot stone massage and before I could say ‘Jack Robinson’, I was fast asleep within minutes.  Such was the ambience and tranquillity that I felt totally relaxed and calm.

Next up was my luxury pedicure. Lord knows I needed it. I was offered more herbal tea to drink while my feet were being sorted out. Quality products were used and I was told I didn’t need my usual shaving off of dry skin which I usually get at the Chinese nail shop. She instead used a very good sand paper type buffer and it got rid of every dry skin in sight and my feet felt lovely. I was then given a paint job and I was done.
