Sorry Ladies, But Clooney Has Finally Been Taken…..By A Brit!

It has finally happened.

There have been unconfirmed reports that die-hard Bachelor (and the love of our lives) George Clooney might be finally tying the Knot.

Clooney’s current girlfriend, Amal Alamuddin was reportedly seen last Thursday showing off a shiny new ring while the couple were out having dinner with model Cindy Crawford in Nobu, California.

According to People Magazine, a source close to the couple confirmed the engagement.

‘George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren’t really trying to hide this, it doesn’t seem.

‘I think it’s like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever,” the insider said.

If the reports are true, then British Lawyer Amal, has managed to achieve a feat many others have failed at since Clooney’s brief conjugal stint with ex-wife Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.

So what were all the other women doing wrong?

Well apparently, all they had to do (apart from being drop dead gorgeous which Amal clearly is) was be a lawyer……a humanitarian lawyer at that.

Secondly, have some balls. Alamuddin is the current legal council for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange who is taking refuge at the Ecuadorean embassy in London against extradition to Sweden.

The 36-year-old is also an adviser to former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan who is the special envoy to Syria.

Clooney’s previous ex’s were all mostly in the entertainment industry. Who knew he would eventually fall for a Brit?

His publicist Stan Rosenfield has refused to confirm or deny that the couple are indeed engaged telling the Daily Mail last year that the pair were ‘just friends’.
