Controversial? No, just super talented and candid
Sinead O’Connor has just released the official album for her single ‘8 Good Reasons” which is off her latest album “I’m not bossy, I’m the Boss”.
The star who shot to fame in the 90’s with her rendition of Prince’s “Nothing Compares” appears in the video wearing a Priest’s outfit (she is an ordained Priest) as she sits through a bus ride in her home town of Dublin.
The song is a chat with her fans as she explains why she’s still in the music industry even though she’s faced numerous challenges during her 30 year career. She says there’s “8 Good Reasons” to stick around, making music even if it feels like you’re alone in your own world.
O’Connor hit the limelight recently after criticising twerker Miley Cyrus for her overly sexualized performances. She’s also quite vocal about child abuse and women’s rights.
