These photos were released by the Daily express today. It shows a Vauxhall Astra wedged into the wall of Springfield Primary School in Moseley, Birmingham.
The incident happened around 5am this morning after police got a call from a member of the public who heard the noise after the crash.
The occupants of the car escaped the scene apparently unhurt and are now being traced by the police.
Students were being turned away on arrival at the school this morning as the school remained shut to allow structural engineers carry out assessments on the building. The school is however, set to reopen tomorrow if given the all clear.
It’s incredible the occupants walked off unhurt from the scene. Judging by how far in the car is wedged into the wall, it must have hit the school wall with a lot of force to have knocked down a metal fence and then plough in this deep.
The police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
