Bad Gal Riri is at it again
She’s been named a fashion icon by the American guild of designers so, who are we to question Rihanna’s fashion choices? The Bajan beauty has broken multiple fashion rules with her risqué outfit choices, and last night at the British Fashion Awards, she broke yet another. Riri opted for a black Stella McCartney Tuxedo with nothing else underneath apart from tights. She paired the ‘outfit’ with a pair of Burberry strappy sandals and we actually have to admit she still managed to look alluring. She was confident in her own skin and seemed genuinely happy. That’s good enough for us folks.
There was a lot of black British love last night at the Awards ceremony where the best of British fashion talent was celebrated. We clearly weren’t the only ones chuffed to bits that Afro-Brit designer Edward Enninful scooped the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator. This is an incredibly prestigious award and it’s absolutely fantastic that the British Fashion Council have recognised Enninful’s creativity.
The Creative Director of W Magazine was presented the award by music superstar Rihanna and Naomi Campbell, both of whom couldn’t stop praising the creative stylist. Naomi posted on her Instagram page, ‘Congrats brother’, while Rihanna posted, ‘We love you,’ before saying he totally deserved the award.
The awards drew celebrities including top models Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne- who won model of the year award, Poppy Delevigne, Victoria and David Beckham and David Gandy.
