There are many ways to celebrate after a well deserved win. One that would probably top the list would involve treating oneself to a bowl of rice and egusi soup while on a very expensive yacht with stunning sea-side views in the background.

That’s how the Koko master himself celebrated after taking home the best-selling African Artist award at the 22nd edition of the world music awards which took place at the Monte Carlo Sporting Club in Monaco on Tuesday the 27th of May.

The awards drew in artists from across the globe in celebration of great music from around the world. D’ Banj hobnobbed with Hollywood A- Listers such as Mariah Carey, Miley CyrusJason Derulo and Ricky Martin.

The singer later posted photos of himself and fellow artist of Nigerian heritage ‘Tinie Tempah’ on his Instagram page as they chatted away on a yacht in Monaco, followed by another with British rapper Labyrinth. Living the life eh?

Besides, now you know you can definitely get egusi soup while holidaying in Monaco which is fantastic right?
