Quick guide: How to get rid of blackheads

We all get them once in a while some of us have them all the time. Those pesky horrible, unsightly black and whiteheads that make our skin look like porcupines.

There are lots of remedies out there that promise to eliminate blackheads but very few of them actually work. Most of us have over 10 so called treatments just sitting in our cabinet collecting dust. Well I have tried a few and found some that actually work and work very well.

DIY Mix of Bentonite Clay and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar mixed into a paste. Applied to clean skin and left on for 15 minutes 3 times a week works great and will get rid of blackheads quite quickly.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Face mask used 3 times a week will have your skin looking bright and blackhead significantly reduced within 2 weeks, £10 from The Body Shop.

Another DIY face mask is Activated Charcoal with Aloe Vera gel or juice. Mixed into a paste and applied to skin for 15 minutes 3 times a week.

 

Neutrogena pink grapefruit face wash and mask is affordable, works well and smells great, £4 from Boots.
