Look who’s turning 1!
The royals have released photos ahead of Prince George’s 1st birthday on Tuesday. The photo taken by PA staff photographer John Stillwell as the family visited the ‘sensational Butterflies’ exhibition at the National History Museum is one of three to be released to mark the toddlers first birthday.
Prince George is the third in Line to the throne and is arguably one of the most photographed babies/toddlers in the world. Imagine the whole world being interested in your first birthday?
It will be interesting to see how the party turns out tomorrow. Will they go Kanye and Kim K and rent a mini park and festival to celebrate or will they opt for a low-key celebration (whatever that means in Royal language)? If the Duke and Duchess’ precedents are anything to go by, Prince George’s party would be similar to that of any other toddler, as the couple have gone to great pains to ensure that their status as royals doesn’t rob them of the joys of ordinary family life.
From the very first time we caught a glimpse of him as his mum held him outside the hospital, the whole world has been following his every move and he’s made it worthwhile.
He’s given us priceless pouts and some of the most funniest facial expressions as photographers capture the family’s outings around the world.
The little Prince is no slow coach either as he already took his first steps months before his first birthday. Who said boys were slower than girls when it comes to walking?
Here are some adorable photos of the Prince in action as we celebrate his first birthday tomorrow.
