Upcoming property development company Alpha Mead Ltd has urged Nigerians in the UK to invest in properties in the booming Nigerian economy.
At a seminar organised by the Move back to Nigeria group in association with Alphamead, the company presented its new development scheme ‘Lekki Pearl Estates’ to would be investors.
The event which took place on Thursday at Double Tree by Hilton in Tower Hill, hosted a reception for young professional Nigerians looking to own a property in Nigeria without the hassle that comes with the process of buying land and finding someone to monitor the progress of the project.
Founder of Move Back To Nigeria Adabara Abdullahi, spoke of the importance of bridging the gap between organisations who were interested in reaching out to the Nigerian community in the UK and Nigerians in diaspora who were seeking information about current opportunities in Nigeria, particularly for those interested in moving back to Nigeria.
Mr Femi Akintunde who led the delegation from Nigeria told the audience not to take risks with their hard earned money by entrusting an important decision such as building a property in Nigeria to unqualified persons.
Mr Akintunde who is MD/CEO of Alpha Mead properties assured Nigerians in the UK that the company was well aware of the challenges faced by many Nigerians abroad when trying to achieve their dream of owning a home back home.
He told the audience that the company was well ahead of schedule to deliver the project and that prospective investors had nothing to worry about as they would be dealing with a reputable company.
He further stated that the development was planned with Nigerians in diaspora in mind, with a model rivalling, if not better than what is available here in the UK.
“You will hardly find any other company that carries out developments to the standard and finish that we do in the Nigerian industry,” he said.
Addressing the issue of affordable housing for the growing middle class in Nigeria, Mr Akintunde stated that Lekki Pearl Estate was specifically developed with affordability in mind.
He reiterated that no other company in Nigeria offered the chance to own a home in 24 months without any deposit and with only a monthly contribution starting from £1, 000 (about N250, 000) a month.
He also stressed that the company had gone to great lengths to partner with world-class developers and fittings experts to ensure that the finishing in all the properties are of the standard expected anywhere in the world.
Located in the Shangotedo area of Lekki, in the Ajah axis, Lekki Pearl Estates aims to create a liveable and functional community where people can live in close proximity to main commercial areas.
