Nigerian Business Mogul: Aliko Dangote is now the 25th Richest Man in the World. See the Latest List of the worlds exclusive Billionaires Club Here

If you’re on your way to work doing the usual daily grind or having a bad day, this should inspire you or it might make you want to bury your head in your pillow, wondering why you’re not on this list.

According to Forbes Magazine, Africa’s richest man and the richest black man in the world got even richer between 2013 and 2014. His wealth grew to $25 billion as at March 2014, propelling him 20 places up the ladder from number 45.

His wealth is just a few billion dollars shy of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg’s $28.5 billion fortune. Zuckerberg who doshed out $16 Billion to acquire social messaging app, WhatsApp also grew his wealth in the past year, thanks to an increase in Facebook shares.

The juiciest news however is that Microsoft founder, Bill Gates is back at the no 1 spot! The Billionaire claimed the richest man in the world title after a 4 year hiatus which saw Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim Helu occupying the spot for the past four years.

The No 3 spot is now occupied by Highstreet chain, Zara owner, Armani Ortega and Warren Buffet hold the no 4 spot.

In summary, all the billionaires who made the top 20 spot all have a net worth of $31 billion and above.

26 new comers joined the ranks of the worlds most exclusive club, including WhatsApp founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton (just in time eh?) with their sale of the app to Facebook.

There are now 1, 645 billionaires in the world according to Forbes, all with a jaw dropping combined wealth of $6.4 Trillion. The fact that there are only 172 women on that list including Facebook’s COO, Sheryl Sandberg is so abysmal, it’s almost funny.

Come on ladies, we got this…..this time next year, let’s make that number in the 500’s at least. We’ve got what it takes so let’s get started. If the world’s richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija can do it, so can you.

Are you inspired yet?
