Famous Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia- 2Face has collaborated with the red cross society of Nigeria to create more awareness about his foundation the ‘2Face reach out foundation initiative’.
The new collaboration was revealed at a press conference at club Rumours, Ikeja on Friday 4th of July 2014 where they both agreed to increase development and peace in Nigeria through use of art.
He was also made the ambassador for the red cross society.
Meanwhile 2face had earlier in the month collaborated with Sound Sultan, Essence, Rookie K-Slim to collaborate on the official campaign song titled ‘MVP’, (Million voices for Peace). The proceeds from which will go to funding the work of the Nigerian Red Cross.
According to news 24 Nigeria, 2Face spoke on the partnership saying ‘I have worked on different music projects but the experience we shared producing ‘break the silence’ is special for me and my friends.
“Without peace, there would be no 2Face or any of us here today. We may never know many dreams have been aborted because of conflict and other disasters, peace gives us everything.”
Among the dignitaries that graced the conference were; Efe omoroge ‘muzik boss’, COSON boss, Tony Okoroji, CEO Smooth promotions, Ayo Animashaun and singer Essence.
