Nigerian footballer John Mikel Obi has announced that he’s considering exiting Chelsea by the end of this summer.
The Chelsea midfielder is reportedly frustrated with the current arrangement under coach Jose Mourinho which has seen the star’s appearances on the field drastically reduced.
The arrival of Nemanja Matic in January, this year hasn’t helped his cause either.
Obi who still has up to 3 years on his contract with the London club is looking for a new challenge where he can put his talent to good use.
So far, Turkish club Galatasaray, have thrown their hat in the ring to snap up the midfielder.
It is thought Chelsea would be looking to make a hefty sum should Obi decide to leave.
Since joining the blues in 2006 from Norwegian club Lyn Oslo, Mikel has had over 300 appearances for Chelsea, winning the Premier league, Champions league and Europa league.
