Looking To Launch Your Media Career in The UK? The Big Search is Auditioning For Presenters!

The Big Search is a reality TV Show in search of Television Presenter of African Descent in the UK. The aim of the show is  to provide the African community living in the UK, the opportunity to pursue their dream in the art of Television presenting as they are hardly given that opportunity. We aim to use THE BIG SEARCH… as a reference point for the mainstream channels to know that Africans are just as good.

paulineWith a successful first outing, the show is set to hit the airwaves with the second series with auditions beginning in March 2014.

The winner gets to present his/her own TV Show as well have a weekend away in an exotic location and there’a a cash prize of £1, 000 thrown in too.

The judges are some of the UK’s formidable women of African origin.

Evelyn Obahor is the brain behind the talent hunt with over 25 years of experience in the media under her belt. TV presenter and BEFFTA awards founder, Pauline Long is also on the panel while South African model, Sinazo Yolwa completes the panel.

Auditions will be held in London on Saturday the 15th of March 2014 and the judges will pick 12 finalists and send them into a house for few weeks and drill them in different areas of TV Presenting such as News Reading, Reporting, Voxpop and so on…
