London Underground works are planning to go on a 48 hour strike next week as part of a dispute over staff cuts.
The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) had announced that its members were instructed not to book on for any shifts between 9pm next Tuesday and 8:59pm on Thursday.
Separate walk-outs will be made simultaneously by council workers and civil servants nationwide.
This planned strike is in protest of Transport for London hoping to save £50m a year by closing ticket offices and cutting jobs, saying that it needs to save £4.2bn by 2020.
The dispute has been going on since February, and has already seen two strikes go ahead.
London Underground however has said that if the strike goes ahead, there will be extra buses put into service.
