Lea Michele had plenty reasons to be gleeful on Sunday after scooping the TV actress- Comedy award for the third time in a row at the teen choice awards.
The 27-year-old happily tweeted a photo of herself on the red carpet holding her surf board award and telling her fans, “she couldn’t have done it without them.”
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the most amazing fans IN THE WHOLE WORLD for voting for me….and helping me to win the
#TeenChoiceAward! I can’t tell you how much it means to me and how grateful I am for all your love and support!”
The awards mark a year after she cried on stage after winning the same award a few months after the death of her boyfriend, fellow Glee star Cory Monteith who died from an apparent heroin overdose.
The star now has a new beau Mathew Paetz whom she met while shooting her music video in May.
