Kwame Koranteng Bespoke To Make a Special Showcase at Divas of Colour

Gold Coast designer Kwame Koranteng will be showcasing his latest collection for 2015 at Divas of Colour 2015. Last year we saw Kwame as a judge for The Diva Designer and the Diva Face Model. However, this year the designer is back to show us his upcoming creation. For those  unsure about Divas of Colour, it is an annual event that honours women of colour for their great achievements in different industries.

The founder of Divas of Colour, Faustina Anyanwu , announced her excitement for Kwame to be joining the show once again, by describing his presence as a “huge boost” to the event. Kwame also couldn’t hide how thrilled he is to be taking part in the show again as he commemorated Faustina, saying “Faustina has been a good friend and she has done remarkably well with bringing our women together and highlighting their contributions”. He also added “we need to celebrate our success more and support causes that are relevant”.

 

Kwame Koranteng Bespoke Tailoring is a tailoring company that produces the finest tailor made clothing. The head designer who is Kwame Koranteng customises the clothes from the fit to the fabric to create clothes to satisfy the needs of his customers. The brand specialises in unique western clothing as well as traditional wear from Ghana, most of the designs have the Ghanaian Kente cloth collaborated alongside other materials to represent the roots of Koranteng.

The West African designer started off sketching designs in Ghana, however once he reached the UK his sketches turned into life as he designed clothes for the UK brand George, which later inspired him to begin his own brand which has conquered the world of African celebrities and trend-setters worldwide .
