On last night’s LiveAtBattersea, Jim Iyke who was part of a line up of guests including Dencia, DJ Edu and Musician Moelogo would not be drawn on his current relationship status.
The actor was responding to a question by a caller on the live show who wanted to know if he was engaged or not.
‘With all due respect, I do not want to discuss something of such a personal nature on a platform like this,’ said the actor.
‘I’m sure we’ll meet somewhere in future, maybe at an airport lounge or something, if you ask me this question then, one on one, I’ll be able to answer, but right now, no comment’.
Jim is in town to shoot some scenes for his up coming reality series’Jim Iyke Unscripted’ which will see him travelling to 18 countries.
The actor also talks about being labelled the ‘bad boy of Nollywood’ saying it’s all media hype and it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Upcoming artist Moelogo also performed his new single ‘Pangolo’ which despite the title is actually a jamming tune.
The BBC’s DJ Edu was also on the red sofa, talking about the challenges faced by African artists trying to break into the mainstream.
LiveAtBattersea is fast turning into our favourite Friday night hang out…..technical glitches aside, the show does have the potential to become the number one celebrity hotspot in the African/Nigerian UK community.
We can’t wait for to find out which celebrities will be gracing the famous red sofas next week….keep ’em coming.
