Despite Rumours circulating around the media to the contrary, a spokesperson of Jennifer Lopez has confirmed to People Magazine that the singer will indeed be performing at the World Cup opening ceremony.
Previous reports suggested that J Lo had pulled out from the opening festivities, citing ‘production issues’ as the reason.
The source also told the paper that Lopez- who recently split from boyfriend Casper Smart, would be there and that the singer ‘loved performing at opening ceremonies’.
J Lo completes the line up of singers to perform at the ceremony in Sao Paulo on Thursday including Pit Bull and Claudia Leitte. The trio will be singing the official World Cup tune ‘We Are One Ole Ola’.
