Inspirational African Women Honoured at The 2014 Women4Africa Awards

The great hall in Kensington played host to some of the most amazing African women on  Saturday the 10th of May.

The usually posh area in west London famed for its wealthy inhabitants brimmed with colour as guests arrived for the third annual Women4Africa awards, a ceremony which celebrates the achievements of outstanding African women in various sectors.

Founded by media ersonality Tola Onigbanjo  (WiseTola)and her husband Sam Onigbanjo with a vision to empower Africa and its women by supporting and  celebrating their role in their communities via Conferences, supporting education and Awarding prestigious awards, recognitions and special honours on such women identified and nominated by the public. 

Hosted this year by the amazing duo Toya Washington of Ben TV and Lolo 1 of Naija FM, the night was packed with inspiration and performances by Vicky Sola and upcoming UK act ‘Sweet Boys’.

Celebrities in attendance include May7even, Mary Shittu of Naija Bites, Lola of Out and about who was also a nominee for media personality of the year, Nollywood actress Rita Nzelu amongst others.
