It’s the war of the Kitchens as British chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver are both set to open new outlets of their successful restaurant chains in Hong Kong.
Ramsey is to open a branch of his restaurant chain Bread Street Kitchen in September this year with Oliver slated to launch his new venture in the same city next month.
After weeks of speculation, Ramsay confirmed the news saying,“This is an exciting step for the group, not only to be entering the Asian market which has such an amazing food culture but also to bring one of our concepts which has proved such a success in London.”
The Restaurant- the Chef’s first venture into the Asian market, will be located at the Hotel LKF by Rhombus on Wyndham Street, in the central part of the City.
Ramsey has 24 restaurants worldwide including the Savoy Grill in London and the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill in Las Vegas while Jamie Oliver’s chain totals 27 with branches in Dubai, Singapore and Australia.
