From Shanghai, With Love- The New Black Beauties in Victoria’s Secret’s 2017 Fashion Show

One of the most anticipated events in the fashion calendar, this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion show was filmed in Shanghai, China, and will air in the US on the 28th November. As we’re not in the US, and will possibly not be able to catch the show live or later, we’re confined to stalking the brand’s social media accounts to catch a glimpse of the lingerie giant’s latest offerings- which this year has been in partnership with Balmain.

Almost as important as the sexy lingerie is the chance to discover some new faces who joined the Victoria’s Secret Angels team- one of the most covered gigs in the industry. Earlier in the year, Nigerian model of the moment Mayowa Nicholas shared the news that she would be walking the VS catwalk (we’re pretty sure this makes her the first Nigerian model to do so!), and while we haven’t yet seen her catwalk images, we’re thrilled to see some new black and brown beauties- like Sudanese model Grace Bol, strutting their stuff on the VS runaway alongside the likes of Maria Borges, and Jasmine Tookes.

The new collection which will be available to buy from the 29th was designed by Balmain creative director Oliver Rousteing. The collection featuring a punk rock vibe with black , lots of studs and bling.
