From Monday To Friday, Your Ultimate Work Look book Is this Way…

We’ve all found ourselves running late, buried in a pile of clothes and unable to put together a work look. You try on a skirt and top, and then realize it looks too frumpy, and before you know it, you’re running late!

You look too formal, your shoes are more nightclub than board room…it’s just a disaster; and it’s only Monday!

The reoccurring question of what to wear is persistent Mondays to Fridays, but we’ve got you covered! Whether your work-place is creative and casual or refined and formal, get inspired with our week lookbook. You’ll never be uninspired again!

We all hate Mondays; the weekend’s over, and the traffic is always at it’s worst, so why not inject some colours into your work wardrobe to make you feel better?

We went all out with this look. In the office or not, a pencil skirt is staple every girl should own. Two pieces make this outfit: the blurred floral print on the L.K.Bennett skirt give a slimming effect while an oversized vibrant red jumper skims over your stomach. The pop of purple in the Givenchy bag compliments the skirt perfectly, and the Louboutins, well, they speak for themselves! We finished the look with thick, gold jewelry. Have fun with accessories and even shoes and bags depending on your job.

We’ve gone all classic – suit and a skirt, what could go wrong? This Hobbs matching skirt and top combination is the epitome of sophistication. We had a little fun with these earrings, yet played it safe with the pearl bracelet: remember professionalism should always be number one for your work looks! The bag is a stunning DKNY leather bag, which would look the part for work and play.

We were running late…so late, wearing heels were just too impractical for running for the bus! Instead we went for these ultra feminine ballet pumps, we love the scallop edging – a cool twist on classic footwear. To add to the simple, last minute look, we kept the colour palate simple; we matched the white shoes with white peg trousers, and to brighten it up, we added cute green NEXT jumper.

Dressing for a business lunch is never easy, but it does allow fashion freedom. We love midi skirts for work, the mid-calf length is perfect for the conservative setting; add a fun top to balance out the seriousness. We went for a leather crop top from Alice and Olivia, to pair with our Topshop skirt. We kept the shoes monochrome to fit the look.

Topshop Aztec Skirt: £45.00

Alice And Olivia Crop Top: £347.58

NOIR necklace: £200

Shelikes Bianca Cream Faux Leather Pointed Toe Court Shoes: £15

Thank God it’s Friday! Express your impending freedom with a work look that can take you from day to night. Remember heels look best with this style, but ballet flats or brogues do the trick as well. We played with shape with the fitted blouse verses the slouchy trench coat. The bargain bling from Primark added some much needed shine to the outfit, and the nude heels would look good in Canary Wharf but also in a bar. We adore the skirt, be bold like this and Amp up work wardrobe with 3D embellishment.
