Lately it seems that rapper Snoop Dogg is going through what many people on Instagram have described as a mid-life crisis or a desperate cry for attention? Recently the rapper posted pictures of himself dressed as a lady, raising a few eyebrows. This time the rapper’s latest action wasn’t taken so lightly by his fans. Early hours of Monday Morning, fans of the rapper reacted with shock when the Snoop uploaded a picture of a gay couple alongside a very negative comment.
The caption read, “U n ya boyfriend since u like Jumpn on my page disrespectn b**** boy go suck ya man n get off my line f**.”
The post stayed on Instagram and Twitter for half an hour before it was taken down by the Rapper with no explanation whatsoever. Fans immediately rejected the rapper’s actions, commenting ‘wow’. However the comment came as a surprise to most people as previously Snoop Dog has shown support for gay marriages. However, he argues that being gay in the rap genre is impossible. Openly speaking about the artist frank ocean that recently opened up about falling in love with a man, Snoop stated, “Frank Ocean ain’t no rapper. He’s a singer.”
He argued that, “It’s acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don’t know if it will ever be acceptable because rap is so masculine.”
“It’s like a football team. You can’t be in a locker room full of motherf***ing tough a** dudes, then all of a sudden say, ‘Hey, man, I like you.’ You know, that’s going to be tough.”
