Celebrate the delicious flavours of autumn with a Michelin starred Pumpkin Afternoon Tea at Bohemia restaurant in Jersey.
If you’re planning a trip to the Channel Islands this autumn, here’s a treat to whet your appetite. New Pastry Chef Ellen de Jager has created an exquisite tea featuring delightful autumnal themed treats such as a Pumpkin Cake made with butternut squash, walnut and cinnamon. The cake is then delicately finished with a frosting of reduced butternut squash with coco butter, sprayed on to achieve the look of a realistic mini pumpkin.
The tea also features a Spiced Blackcurrant & Liquorice Delice layered cake, made using enticing autumnal spices such as cloves and star anise. Jersey Black Butter (a unique Jersey Apple Conserve from the cider making process) is served with the freshly baked scones, offering another rich autumnal flavour.
The Pumpkin Afternoon Tea also includes a delightful mix of: Bohemian Tea Sandwiches; Traditional Scones served with Strawberry Jam, Jersey Black Butter and Jersey Clotted Cream; and a delicate selection of fine Cakes & Fancies.
All Afternoon Teas are served with a collection of Loose Leaf Teas and Herbal Infusions from Jersey’s own Cooper & Co, including refreshing flavours such as: Jamaican Rum; Funky Flower Garden; and Moroccan Mint Tea.
Priced at just £19.95 per person, the Afternoon Tea is served from 2.15pm until 5.30pm and can be enjoyed in Bohemia Bar & Restaurant, on the Roof Terrace, and even the poolside ivy clad Terrace.
