Sports fashion brand, HEAD, are looking for creative minds to re-design their iconic St Moritz and Monte Carlo Holdalls
The first UK HEAD Sports Bags Design Competition has been launched, with the sports fashion brand seeking young design talent to submit new concepts for two of their most popular holdalls, St Moritz and Monte Carlo.
HEAD are calling on young people to upload fresh designs for their holdalls with the public being able to vote for their favourite. The top three most popular designs as voted for by the public, will be made and displayed at the competition final event during London Fashion Week in September. Out of the three designs, a judging panel of industry experts will decide the winner with the panel’s choice to go into production and on sale as a special Limited Edition item
Create a unique design for HEAD’s iconic holdalls: that’s the challenge for the first UK HEAD Sport Bags Design Competition. This is great opportunity for students with an interest in fashion and design to show off their work to a wider audience with the potential to have their design go into production and later on sale to the public.
The aim of the competition is to encourage creativity and originality with HEAD’s category manager for Sport Bags, Carron Williams stating: “We are always interested in the perspective and attitude of young people with a passion for design and this is why we decided to take a new approach to finding fresh design talents with the HEAD UK Sports Bag Design Competition.”
More information on the competition and how to enter can be found on http://ukbagdesign.head.com/ with the closing date for entries 30th June 2015.
