Five photos have been released that prosecutors entered into evidence in the assault trial of singer Chris Brown’s bodyguard.
The US musician spent his 25th birthday in jail as lawyers deal with two cases.
Brown has been in prison since 14 March after violating a court order relating to his assault of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
He was sent to a rehab centre for anger management and broke the terms of the court order when he was thrown out by staff. Brown is back in court on 9 May where his lawyers hope to agree a deal over his probation issues. The singer could face a number of punishments, including more jail time.
Christopher Hollosy, Brown’s bodyguard, was convicted of assault and plans to appeal. Brown’s assault trial has been delayed for the next few months.
Brown’s latest album, X, has been delayed several times due to the ongoing cases and a new release date has not been set.
