Cheryl Gets Booed On X Factor For Mentioning Justin Bieber

Newly wed Cheryl Fernandez- Versini (glad we got that out in one breath!) got more than she bargained for on the live set of the X factor auditions in Wembley when the audience drowned her words in a sea of boo’s.

The Crazy, Stupid, Love singer was giving feedback to a hopeful when she told him he ‘lacked stage presence’, and compared him to popstar Justin Bieber, to which she was greeted with boo’s.

Cheryl probably momentarily forgot that the 20-year-old isn’t exactly a favourite on the entertainment scene at the moment after a series of bust ups with the law and more recently, a near bar brawl with dishy Orlando bloom.

Fans of the show tweeted that Mrs Versini, whose single Crazy, Stupid,Love is currently enjoying the UK no 1 spot in the charts was trying to fill in the void left by Simon’s absence on the show due to feeling poorly by being a tad bossier than usual.

She reportedly told one of the contestants,“I think Simon was right, you could be your own five-piece band, but I think you should do stand-up or something like that.”

“I just wouldn’t know how to mentor you,” she said apparently in reference to the contestant’s ‘mental’ performance. When the contestant pleaded that he could change tact, Cheryl reportedly slammed him down saying he hadn’t changed during his past performances- for which she won another chorus of boos.

Clearly, the audience wasn’t impressed with her tough stance.

While that may not have gone down well with the audience, her choice of outfit for the day went down very well with us. Cheryl rocked the all white trend effortlessly in a dress from 3.1 Philip Lim.
