Calvin Harris has been named the richest DJ in the world by Forbes after raking in £66 million in the past 12 months, $20 million more than he did last year when he topped the same list.

Harris and his fellow DJ’s dubbed “Electronic Cash Kings” by Forbes made loads of dosh from playing hundreds of festivals, producing songs and DJing at exclusive locations and night clubs.
In total, the top 10 guys on the deck took home $268 million with French DJ David Guetta coming in second place after Harris.
Electronic music has become big over the years and some of the DJ’s on the list have produced for the likes of Rihanna and Britney Spears not to mention some like Guetta, who have their own residency.
Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angelo, who pulled his a tidy $12 million himself said, “It’s just grown gigantically because it’s such a great business, and it’s a great business model because you have all these kids that want to go to all these events, and that’s a great way of making a business stand very fast.”
