Anthony Joshua (real name Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua) is set for his fight tomorrow on the undercard of Carl Froch vs George Groves at Wembley tomorrow.
Joshua had his weigh in today along with the other contenders ahead of tomorrow’s bout in front of an estimated 80, 000.
Speaking to the Daily Mail earlier this month, the 23-year-old said, “I can’t wait to box at Wembley on May 31 – it’s going to be an unbelievable experience.”
‘To box at the national stadium on a bill of this magnitude is a real honour and I plan to kick the night off with a bang against Matt.”
Joshua only just started boxing in 2007 at the age of 18 and has made huge strides in the short time he’s been in the profession having clinched a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics and being awarded a member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by the Queen in 2013.
Here’s wishing the boxer all the best for tomorrow. We’ll be watching!
