Access Bank UK hosted some of the most influential personalities at the bank’s Polo event last Saturday at the Ham Polo Club in Surrey.
The Access Bank Polo Cup is an initiative of Access Private Bank UK, UNICEF and Fifth Chukker, launched to raise funds for orphaned and vulnerable children in Nigeria through its annual donation.
The event saw Nigerian celebrities and top executives from the UK cooperate world mingle and enjoy a an exciting Polo tournament attended by World No 1 Polo Champion Adolfo Cambiaso.
Access Bank Plc Group Managing Director, Herbert Wigwe explained: “Our support for the Fifth Chukker UNICEF initiative comes from the fact that we are conscious of our role as a change agent in Nigeria that can help institute socio-economic development through responsible business practice and environmental considerations. We are part of the community and as such should support its wellbeing.”
One of Nigeria’s finest singers Dare Art Alade served up great quality entertainment alongside the sporting event. Singer Gena West was also on hand to serenade guests with her great voice.
As expected, the women in attendance added glamour and style to the event with fashionable frocks and many appropriately adorned with trendy hats and accessories.
Ghanaian soul singer Gena West looked absolutely stunning in a peach dress embellished with multicoloured flowers at the hem while Aita Ighodaro was a vision in a summery little red dress paired with a beige tote bag and brown peep toes. See some of the highlights below.
