Bella Naija To Chair African Beauty Debate at Olympia Beauty Show in London

The UK’s biggest gathering of beauty professionals is almost here! Olympia beauty, now it’s 10th year will take place on September 21- 23rd at Olympia London and it is not an event to be missed people, if you’re really serious about all things beauty (which we know you are).

There’ll be exhibitions from some of the biggest names in the beauty industry as well as some upcoming ones, so you’ll get ample chance to try your hands on new products and who knows what you could discover eh?

olympia beauty In addition to all the wonderful products on exhibition, there’ll be live stages featuring live panel discussions by beauty experts where you can get all the latest scoop on the beauty industry, the latest make up techniques, nails and spa treatments.

If all that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, a little birdie told us there’ll be a special panel discussion on how the beauty industry can better relate and communicate with African women- estimated to be about 500 million, so that their products reflects the needs of women on the continent.

Moderated by Bella Naija, the African beauty panel discussion on Sunday the 21st will include the co-founders of The Hair & Beauty Expo (THBE) in Nigeria, Irene Syrimis, Yets Asika and Eryca Freemantle at 3.30pm, so make sure you’re at the business of beauty stage at that time to catch the debate.

Connie Jackson, General Manager of Europe, Fashion Fair Cosmetics  and other industry experts including Erica Freemantle, Global Beauty Ambassador for Women of Colour & Strategic Industry Intelligence, will also be on hand to discuss the needs of women of colour and which beauty brands are taking the market seriously.
