Pop superstar and bad Hollywood bad boy Justin Bieber has cut a deal with his neighbour whose home he vandalised in January to avoid jail term.
Instead, the 20 year old has been ordered to pay about $80, 000 in damages to his neighbour whose ‘dream home’ he threw eggs at as well as attending mandatory anger management classes for 12 weeks reports TMZ.
Justin pled no contest to the misdemeanour vandalism charge and was also placed on 2 years probation. The judge also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his neighbour and his family.
The initial estimate for damages to the Calabasas mansion was actually $20, 000 but the court fined Bieber up to 4 times more to reflect the status of the home Bieber vandalised.
Bieber has had a rough ride this year, getting in trouble with the law after being clocked while driving under the influence earlier this year and driving on an expired license.
He also faces charges of resisting arrest without violence and is due in court later in July in California.
The baby singer was absent during the sentencing at the court in California but his spokesperson released a statement to the TMZ saying, ‘Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music.’
